MUSTANG, Okla. – Officers say an Oklahoma woman is facing several charges after witnesses reported a violent fight between her and a man.

On Friday, authorities were called to Cemetery Rd. after witnesses said a black car was dragging a man that was hanging on to the outside of it.

According to the police report, several callers reported the unusual sight, claiming the driver was attempting to knock the man off the vehicle.

A caller reported that the car was driving fast as the man was hanging onto the window.

He eventually fell off in the 500 block of Cemetery Rd. and was “covered in blood.”

A deputy was able to stop the car a while later and took 31-year-old Kristeena Wheeler into custody.

Police say Wheeler claimed she was looking for a ride back to Burns Flat when the man stopped and offered her a ride.

Wheeler said the man told her he had to stop to air up the tires because they were low.

The pair pulled into a gas station near N.W. 10th St. and Cemetery Rd.

According to the police report, she said, “she knew she had to get away from him so she said she moved over to the driver’s seat and started to drive the car away.”

When officers asked why she felt she needed to get away from the man, she said, “Oh yeah, he was going to rape me.”

According to the affidavit, Wheeler claimed the man tried to grab her and kiss her.

Authorities put her under arrest and she said, “You can’t arrest me. He raped me and he is going free?”

At that point, officers asked her again if he raped her and she said, “no.”

According to the report, her story kept changing about where she was going and whether she was seeking help.

Wheeler was arrested on assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
