A popular car company is recalling thousands of cars.

Mercedes announced that it is recalling nearly 300,000 cars from 2008 through 2011 model years.

The recall covers C300, C350 and C63 AMG cars.

Officials say corrosion on a connector can cause the tail, brake or rear turn signal lights to dim or fail.

Drivers should see a dashboard warning message if the problem occurs.

Company officials say dealers will replace the affected parts at no charge.

However, they won’t be available until August or September.
