MEDICINE PARK, Okla. – When you drive through Oklahoma towns, you usually see friendly roadside messages.

In Medicine Park, the message is anything but friendly, and it is here to stay.

Scrawled in big red letters, a sign greets drivers near a tourist destination.

The sign reads: “Bring it to me mother *******.”

Police say, they know the sign is offensive, but there is nothing they can do because it is on private property.

The Comanche County Sheriff’s Department says because of the number of complaints, they are investigating ways to take it down.
