The Oklahoma City Thunder hit more than 70 percent of their shots in the second half on their way to a 120-109 win over Memphis in Game 7 of their first round NBA Playoff series, beating the Grizzlies four games to three to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.

OKC's stars stepped up in the most important game of the year, with Kevin Durant scoring 33 points and making all five 3-point attempts, while grabbing 8 rebounds.

Russell Westbrook had his second triple double in a Game 7, with 27 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds.

Westbrook also had a triple double in Game 7 against Memphis in 2011.

He becomes the first player in NBA history to have two triple-doubles in a Game 7.

The Thunder started the game slowly, as they have much of the series with Memphis.

The Grizzlies led 36-27 after the first quarter, the most points Memphis has scored in a quarter all season.

OKC resonded in the second quarter, outscoring Memphis 34-22 to lead by three at halftime.

The lead grew from there in the second half, becoming as large as 24 points late in the fourth quarter.

Five Thunder players scored in double figures, with Reggie Jackson scoring 16, Caron Butler 15 and Serge Ibaka 12.

The Thunder made 61 percent from the field for the game, overcoming 20 turnovers, and hit 11 of 19 from three-point range.

The Thunder improve to 2-0 in Game 7's and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals against the L.A. Clippers, who beat Golden State late Saturday night in  Game 7 of their series.
