Local pharmacy helps fire victims by covering prescriptions

GUTHRIE, Okla. – As fires continue to rage in Logan County, a local pharmacy is going out of its way to help victims.

Cornwell Pharmacy, in conjunction with the Logan County chapter of the American Red Cross, is offering to cover all prescriptions for victims of the fires near Guthrie.

People who have been affected can contact the Red Cross or the pharmacy to receive assistance.

Dr. Ryan Wyssmann, with Cornwell Pharmacy said, “One of my technician’s mother-in-law lost her house in this fire.  I knew she would need help and that others would too.  We take care of our neighbors around here.”

Currently, the Red Cross is set up just east of I-35 on Seward Rd.
