Oklahoma City Thunder

OKLAHOMA CITY – After a grueling series with the Memphis Grizzlies, the Oklahoma City Thunder hopes to start strong in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

After a Game 7 win against Memphis on Saturday night, the Thunder had no time to celebrate the victory.

Oklahoma City will take on the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night inside Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Sports analysts says it will be a completely different game in this series.

The Memphis Grizzlies are known for their gritty, defensive style of basketball.

On the other hand, the Los Angeles Clippers rely on their shooters to score, burying opponents with three-pointers.

To win, the Oklahoma City Thunder’s defense will have to be able to stop, or at least, slow down the Clippers’ offense.

Experts are already thinking about the matchup between Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul.

Also, Serge Ibaka will be tasked with trying to disrupt Blake Griffin’s shooting style.

While Kevin Durant is the Thunder’s superstar scorer, the Clippers’ are more balanced.

Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. on TNT.
