SEATTLE – It would appear some Washington NBA fans are still upset about losing the team that went on to become the Oklahoma City Thunder with an MVP announced Tuesday.

A Seattle TV station, KIRO 7, has promised not to mention OKC or anything about our state during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s run in the playoffs.

The station refers to our team as the “Former Seattle SuperSonics.”

Oklahoma City welcomed the Thunder in 2008.

It seems time does not heal all wounds. Sorry, Seattle.
