Two women arrested after using children to help support their drug habit

OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. – Two women are behind bars after allegedly using two small children to beg for money to support their drug habit.

According to police, Christina Mitchell and Carrie West were using Mitchell’s sons, ages three and five, to ask people for money.

The women admitted they were addicted to heroin and used the kids so people would feel sorry for them.

Those kids are now in protective custody.
