OKLAHOMA CITY – The Social Security Administration has released the most popular baby names in Oklahoma for 2013. 

Mason and Emma topped the list.  

The top five boys and girls names for 2013 in Oklahoma were:

        3)   Noah                             3)  Olivia 
        4)   William                        4)  Ava
        5)   Jaxon                            5)  Isabella  

Carolyn W. Colvin, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, announced last week that Noah and Sophia were the most popular baby names in the U.S.  

WASHINGTON – What’s in a name?

The Social Security Administration has just announced the most popular baby names for 2013.

“Noah” unseated “Jacob’s” 14-year reign to become the top name for boys.

“Liam” landed at No. 2 followed by “Jacob” in third, then “Mason” and “William.”

“Sophia” topped the list of girls’ names for the third straight year followed by “Emma,” “Olivia,” “Isabella” and “Ava.”
