The Oklahoma City Thunder snapped two impressive streaks in their 118-112 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in the Staple Center on Friday night, May 9.

Coming into game three of their playoff series with the Thunder, the Clippers had won all 35 games this season at home that they had led going into the fourth quarter.

Los Angeles led by four points after three periods of play before Oklahoma City picked up a late three pointer from Russell Westbrook and a tough fade away shot by Kevin Durant with 1:23 left on the following possession to ice the game away.

Scott Brooks squad also snapped another statistic that didn't bode well for Oklahoma City.

Before their game three win on Friday, May 9, the Thunder had lost all four of their other game three's when the series was tied at a game a piece, dating back to 2008.

Kevin Durant led the way with 36 points, Russell Westbrook scored 23 points as well as dishing out 13 assists and Serge Ibaka made nine of his ten shots from the field.

Game four will be an afternoon game on Sunday, May 11, tipping off at 2:30 p.m. CT inside the Staples Center.
