Reported tornado touches down in Missouri, no injuries reported

ORRICK, Mo. (CNN) – Severe weather rumbled through parts of the Midwest on Saturday night.

A twister ripped through the town of Orrick in Ray County.

The tornado damaged homes, knocked down trees and power lines.

The National Weather Service says the storm blew roofs off homes, toppled trees and power poles.

There was no immediate word on injuries but officials are checking house-to-house to make sure everyone was accounted for.

Orrick is about 30 miles east of Kansas City.
