Officials investigating murder in an Oklahoma community

ANADARKO, Okla. – Officials are investigating a murder in Caddo County.

According to Sheriff Gene Cain, a woman called 911 this afternoon to report that she had shot a family member.

When deputies arrived at the home about 4 miles west of Anadarko, they found 56-year-old Allyn White dead of a gunshot wound to the chest.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation the woman told investigators White hit her and threatened to kill her with his rifle.

At this time the woman has not been arrested
