Baltimore TV station WMAR swat moving in NBC

UPDATE: Officials have confirmed the truck the suspect rammed into Baltimore’s WMAR-TV is stolen.

WMAR is reporting witnesses said a screaming man repeatedly tried to get into the building at about 11:45 a.m. ET.

Fortunately, no shots were fired.

The suspect has been taken into custody.

BALTIMORE, Md. – Officials are searching for a potentially armed man who just drove a truck into a Baltimore television station.

Multiple reports state the man may have barricaded himself inside WMAR.

Weapons have been found in the man’s truck.

A SWAT team is surrounding the building.

Officials said all employees are safe, accounted for and have been evacuated.

Authorities said the man drove up the front steps of the building, rammed the truck into the front doors and now the vehicle is completely inside the building.

The truck lost its transmission on during the incident and has covered the ground with transmission fluid.
