Famous dog greets children at special groundbreaking ceremony

MOORE, Okla. – A very famous dog made a visit to a daycare center in Moore Wednesday.

Agapeland Learning Center has reopened after being destroyed in the May 20 tornado last year.

The non-profit organization “Save the Children” is helping provide Agapeland Learning Center with a new safe room.

She visits schools and daycares around the nation to remind families to create family emergency plans if and when disaster strikes.


Daycare workers say having a safe place to go in a storm will be a huge relief for everyone.

The daycare was destroyed last year while teachers and children huddled in the center’s bathrooms.
