OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews are cleaning up after a train collided with a car in southeast Oklahoma City early Thursday morning.

Officials said the accident happened just after 2:30 a.m. near S.E. 59th St. and the I-35 Service Rd.

Authorities said a car was exiting at 51st St. where the road goes underneath I-35.

Police said the driver was going too fast, missed the curve, drove onto the train tracks and crashed into a barrier.

Then a train going about one mile per hour hit the car.

No one was injured and the train was not damaged.

A similar accident happened in this same spot last July.
