Oklahoma’s baseball team scored four first inning runs on their way to an 8-1 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday night at ONEOK Field in Tulsa in the regular season finale for both teams.

The Sooners got a pair of two-run singles from Anthony Hermelyn and Kolbey Carpenter in the first to take a 4-0 lead.

OU pitcher Kindle Ladd kept the Cowboy bats at bay, then Sheldon Neuse added a home run later as the Sooners went on to win by seven runs.

The Sooners halted a trend of Cowboy wins in Tulsa.

OSU had won 13 of the last 14 Bedlam games in Tulsa.

The Bedlam rivals will meet again in their next game as they face off in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday at the Bricktown Ballpark at 4:00.
