OKLAHOMA CITY – As the Oklahoma City Thunder are preparing for the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs, one fan has a special memento from the team’s journey.

After the win over the Clippers last week, Kevin Durant went straight for two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson on the sideline.

After a brief hug, Durant gave Watson one of his sneakers he wore during the Game 6 win.

The pair reportedly struck up a friendship via Twitter earlier this month.

Watson says he reached out to the MVP after seeing the infamous “Mr. Unreliable” headline.

Durant’s sneaker had “EPH 3:20” scrawled on the side, a reference to the Bible’s Ephesians 3:20.

In the Bible, the verse reads, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”

Watson says he has also exchanged messages with Lebron James, which could lead to some awkwardness if the Thunder and Miami Heat reach the Finals.
