OKLAHOMA CITY - A horrific discovery was made by a business owner early Sunday morning, when he arrived at work.

He found the body of a man who actually lived there. He said it was obvious this homeless man was no longer alive.

The body was found off of S. Santa Fe Avenue.

"There appear to be signs of trauma to the body that are consistent with a homicide," according to investigators.

The owner of the business found the man and said he is a homeless man, that he has been letting sleep in the building overnight.

When he found his friend, there was a trail of blood that led to a closed door and behind it, he found his friend laying face down in a pool of blood.

Joe Weese lives next door to the business and says "It's worrying. It's scary just to think about."

He says the scariest thing for him, is the fact that children play right by the business every day.

"Kids that go to the skate park are no older than 15 years old. Middle schoolers, walk up and down the sidewalks all day. So yeah its terrifying if you think about it," said Weese.

Weese watched as detectives gathered evidence and says he's making plans to keep himself safe in the future.
