Authorities searching for escaped inmate near Atoka, wanted for burglary

ATOKA, Okla. – Authorities are searching for an escaped inmate near Atoka.

Officials said 28-year-old Robert Jackson went missing from the Mack Alford Correctional Center in Stringtown, Oklahoma, Monday night.

Jackson has a medium build and is just over six feet tall.

Authorities said he has tattoos on his arm, neck and shoulder.

According to the facility, Jackson’s previous offenses include second-degree burglary, concealing stolen property and eluding police.

Officials are asking anyone with information to immediately call them.
