ANTLERS, Okla. – An Oklahoma man was arrested on Thursday for the murder of his nephew.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents arrested 69-year-old Henry Cole at his home in Antlers for the murder of Gene Cole.

Gene Cole died after being shot in the neck with a shotgun.

Officials say Henry Cole called 911 to say he had discovered his nephew’s body on his property.

OSBI agents served a search warrant on Henry Cole’s home and found two shotguns inside.

Authorities say the weapons were tested and determined one was the gun used to shoot and kill Gene Cole.

Agents say they also collected information that a week before the murder Henry Cole was overheard saying his nephew was no longer allowed on his property.

Cole is now facing a charge of first-degree murder.
