Man wearing “V is for Vendetta” mask taken into custody

OKLAHOMA CITY – A bank in northwest Oklahoma City had a little bit of a scare this morning.

Authorities say a man walked into Chase Bank along Northwest Expressway, wearing a mask that read “V is for Vendetta.”

A suspicious customer quickly ran outside and called police, thinking this person was going to rob the bank.

Officers quickly arrived and took the man into custody.

According to police, the man had no intention of robbing the bank.

Police say the man suffers from mental health problems.

He was taken into custody for his own protection.
