NEW: Police arrest Oklahoma man connected to the murder of a 24-year-old woman

UPDATE 4:32 p.m.

An arrest was made by Bethany Police Department at Hammond Manor apartment complex between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Friday.

47-year-old Albert Ray Johnson has been arrested on counts of 1st degree murder and 2 counts of 1st degree rape for 24-year-old Rachel Rogers.

UPDATE: 11:15 – Authorities say the woman killed in Friday morning’s homicide is Rachel Rogers, 24.

There has been an arrest warrant issued for 1st degree murder and two counts of 1st degree rape for tor Albert Ray Johnson Jr., 47.

Johnson has black hair and is approximate 5’4″ and weighs 155 lbs.

Officials say he was last seen wearing a grey tank top and blue jeans driving a grey 2006 Mazda Tribute SUV, tag number 058-ALO.

According to authorities, Johnson is the boyfriend of the non-deceased victim and lived at the residencewith er.

OKLAHOMA CITY Р Officials with the Village Police Department say one woman has died following an attack inside a home in the Village.

Early this morning, officials with the Village Police Department were called to a home near the 2900 block of Lakeside Dr., which is near May Ave. and Hefner Rd.

Authorities say two women were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Once at the hospital, one of those victims passed away from her injuries.

Police say the alleged suspect may be driving a newer model gray van.

However, no other information on the suspect is being released.

The victim’s identity has not been confirmed.
