Planning on taking dad out for dinner downtown? Downtown traffic officials say your commute could take longer.

Several roads are under construction in the downtown area.

Officials want to make it as convenient as possible for you to avoid roads that may be undergoing construction.

Here is a list of the roads to avoid when traveling downtown:

Eastbound Sheridan between Dewey and Walker will be closed through July. The westbound lanes on Sheridan will remain open.

Sheridan reduced between Hudson and Robinson on Sunday, 6/15 from 7am to 7pm for commercial building maintenance. Two way traffic maintained.

Sheridan reduced between Hudson and Robinson on Friday, 6/20 from 1pm to 9pm for commercial building window replacement. Two way traffic maintained.

Gaylord reduced daily to three north bound and two south bound lanes between Kerr and Main during 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Mickey Mantle reduced between Flaming Lips Alley to Wanda Jackson Way for commercial building construction. Two way traffic maintained.

Walker reduced to one north bound lane from Sheridan to Reno for private utilities.

NW 4th closed between Hudson and Harvey for commercial building construction.

The intersection of Kerr and Robinson is closed to traffic.

Kerr closed to traffic between Robinson and Broadway.

Main reduced from Shartel to Lee for the construction of the new police headquarters.

Couch closed to traffic between Robinson and Broadway.

Main reduced from Walker to Hudson for construction of the parking garage.

Robinson closed between Kerr and Park and McGee and Kerr.
