High-speed chase ends with shocking discovery inside suspect’s trunk

WISCONSIN – Authorities in Western Wisconsin make a gruesome discovery in the trunk of a car involved in a police chase.

Inside the smashed up blue car, officers discovered the body of a 79-year-old taxi driver.

The car had been stolen from the victim on Thursday.

Police in La Crosse, Wisconsin noticed the stolen car early Friday morning and began to pursue the driver.

After leading police on a drawn-out chase, the driver eventually hit another car, causing the chase to end in a brutal rollover accident.

That’s when officers discovered the body in the truck.

The suspect was arrested at the scene.

An autopsy on the victim is pending.

Two other people in another vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash.
