FLORIDA – A dog fell through a pipe shaft in Florida and tumbled down 16 stories before authorities rescued her on the second floor.
According to Fort Launderdale fire rescue, Susie, a Maltipoo, fell through a wall in the upper floor.
Authorities responded to a call at a residence, and found the dog had landed in a pipe shaft on the second floor.
Fire crews cut holes above and below the second floor to try and get the dog.
The eventually managed to get close enough to the dog to remove her from the shaft, before she could fall any further.
Susie is at Oakland Park Animal Hospital.
Her condition is unknown.
