Three large earthquakes rock central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY – As many Oklahomans woke up to a beautiful Monday morning, several others awoke to the ground shaking.

Around 5:30 a.m., a 3.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded near the town of Spencer.

Shortly after that, another earthquake was felt in central Oklahoma around 5:50 a.m.

The Oklahoma Geological Survey says the latest quake was a 4.2 magnitude centered around Jones.

Officials say another 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Jones around 6:25 a.m.

So far, no damage or injuries have been reported in association with the earthquakes.
