OKLAHOMA CITY - 11-year-old Michael Hurley has endured more trips to the hospital than most people do in a lifetime.

Recently Michael was admitted to OU Children's Hospital for what was supposed to be another routine procedure.

Michael's mother said, "It was supposed to be a one night stay and ended up being four days.  He had quite a few different things to go through.  It was pretty hard.  He did good though."

The sixth grader credits one nurse in particular for helping him get through his extended stay.

Michael said, "There's this nurse, and her name is Audra."

Audra Kornack has been a pediatric nurse for five years and could not imagine doing anything else.

It was Audra's love and compassion that inspired Michael to nominate her for Pay It 4Ward.
