GRAPHIC Video: Woman violently beaten in public as her little boy watched in horror

NEW JERSEY – An appalling video that has been widely shared on Facebook and other social networks, shows a woman being brutally beaten in front of her child as bystanders stood by recording the whole thing.

The video  was recorded in New Jersey.

The video shows the woman repeatedly getting assaulted by a fast-foot worker as a number of onlookers stood by without calling 911 or intervening.

You can hear the woman’s child scream “Mommy! Mommy!”, while kicking the fast-food worker pleading for her to stop.

The victim, who has been identified as 27-year-old Catherine Ferreira, laid on the ground while the suspect punched the victim as many as 20 times – resulting in two black eyes, a broken nose and a concussion, NBC10 reports.

According to NBC10, “The suspect, identified by police as 25-year-old Latia Harris, allegedly accused the woman of spreading rumors about her and her restaurant manager.”

Police are reportedly still searching for Harris.
