PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, Okla. —  A deadly fiery crash between two semis  killed three people and shut down a stretch of the Indian Nation Turnpike near Antlers on Thursday.

KTEN is reporting that around 1 p.m. Thursday one of the drivers was trying to make a U-turn, which is prohibited on the turnpike in Pushmataha County.

Troopers say the two semis were both going the same direction when they hit and then burst into flames.

One person in one truck and two people in the other truck were killed.

Traffic was at a standstill in that area for hours, but is now back to normal.
