NewsChannel 4 joins the ‘boatloads’ of fun at Stars & Stripes River Festival

OKLAHOMA CITY – There were ‘boatloads’ of fun along the Oklahoma river at the 2014 Sandridge Stars & Stripes River Festival.

This exciting 4th of July themed event features the RIVERSPORT Challenge 500-meter kayak/5k run duathlon and the Stars & Stripes Regatta featuring masters racing.

Corporate rowing and Dragon Boat League racing takes place under the lights at the OGE NightSprints, as does Paddle for the Cure, a fun dragon boat competition benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central & Western Oklahoma Affiliate.

Also on hand was Bob Moore Chopper 4 and pilot/reporter, Jon Welsh and the 4WarnStorm team’s Reed Timmer, who brought Dominator 4.

Stars of the hit sportsman bowhunting show, BuckVentures, Brandon Adams and Daniel McVay also stopped by.
