OKC police need your help finding a fugitive

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who ran from them after they were called out to a domestic dispute.

Officers say around 6 p.m. Sunday they were called to a home on Grey Fox Run, that’s in a neighborhood near Eastern and Memorial, because someone called saying a man who was not welcome would not leave.

As police were on their way to that call, officer realized the man had a warrant for possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction.

“Upon arrival at the residence, subject matching the description of the 911 call of the person causing the domestic gave chase, or left the residence, the officers gave chase. After an extensive search, the suspect was unable to be located at this time,” said Sgt. Dax Laporte, with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

Police are looking for  Luther Burris, 51.

Burris has prior convictions for robbery, domestic assault and battery, and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
