Theft victim helps police track down his stolen property

OKLAHOMA CITY – A theft victim helped police track down his stolen iPad.

Officials say the tablet was stolen last week during an auto burglary in Logan County.

Several days later the owner managed to get the tracking device to work and discovered it was in Oklahoma City.

Police eventually caught up to the vehicle with the iPad and talked with the driver.

Inside the van, authorities say they found the iPad and also discovered drug paraphernalia.

Authortieis arrested Terry Ruth, 42, for concealing stolen property and for drug violations.

They also arrested passengers Amanda Zutell and Julia Farley.

Zutell was hauled to jail for an outstanding warrant in McClain County.

Farley was arrested for outstanding warrants in McClain and Seminole counties.
