OKLAHOMA CITY - As we get ready to celebrate our country's independence, one woman is using her nimble fingers to make works of art for Oklahoma's war veterans.

Debbie Bass and her "Sew Random Quilters" group spend hours crafting quilts for Oklahoma's veterans.

Bass sews the quilts for Quilts of Valor.  Anyone who has served during combat is eligible to receive a quilt.

Once the quilts are finished, they are presented to the veteran.

Each war veteran says they are grateful to be remembered for their sacrifice to our country.

Bass travels all over to give out these quilts.

Her generous actions drove fellow quilter, Kim Thompson, to nominate her for Pay It 4Ward.
