Those celebrating Independence Day Downtown could experience traffic delays

OKLAHOMA CITY – Planning on watching the fireworks Downtown this evening? Officials warn you could experience some delays.

Traffic advisers are warning motorists to avoid certain streets when driving downtown due to construction and road closures.

Here are the roads to look out for:

Robinson reduced to one north bound and two south bound lanes from Sheridan to Main on Friday, 7/11 from 4am to 1pm for commercial building construction.

Intersection of NW 4th and Robinson will close thru July.

Eastbound Sheridan from Dewey to Walker closed thru July, westbound remains open.

Mickey Mantle reduced from Flaming Lips to Wanda Jackson.

Walker reduced to one north bound lane from Sheridan to Reno for private utilities.

Kerr closed to traffic between Robinson and Broadway.

Main reduced from Shartel to Lee for construction of the new police headquarters.

Main reduced from Walker to Hudson for construction of the parking garage.

Robinson closed between Kerr and McGee.
