LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. -There were some scary moments this holiday as a 2-year-old girl nearly drowns.

Chief Deputy Rich Stephens, with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, says deputies and emergency crews rushed to Case Ln., near Coltrane and Waterloo, shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

When they arrived, they found a 2-year-old girl had nearly drowned in a swimming pool during a family get-together.

Authorities say he was able to be resuscitated and rushed to a local hospital.

Officials say this is a perfect example that even when you are during everything right, accidents can still happen.
