Rocco Mediate Checks Out Oak Tree, Preps For US Senior Open

Pro golfer Rocco Mediate arrived at Oak Tree National to look over the course in preparation for the 2014 US Senior Open.

Mediate did a run through of the course with Oak Tree resident Willie Wood on Saturday, July 5.

Mediate is famous for his runner-up finish to Tiger Woods in the 2008 US Open and won six times on the PGA tour.

The Florida resident picked up two wins on the Champions Tour last year.

Mediate has played at Oak Tree National twice at the 1984 US Amateur and the 1988 PGA Championship.
