Two killed after tragic rollover accident in Deleware County

DELEWARE COUNTY, Okla. – It’s been a deadly holiday weekend on the highways across the state.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, two men were killed late Friday night in Deleware County.

Investigators say the driver was speeding, lost control, and ran off the roadway.

Authorities say the car rolled and hit a nearby tree.

Both men were pinned inside the vehicle for nearly an hour, before rescue crews could get to them.

They were pronounced dead on the scene when authorities arrived.

Troopers say the victims were from Missouri.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say neither the passenger or the driver were not wearing their seat-belts.
