PERTH, Australia – After a video was leaked to an Australian television station, showing Oscar Pistorius reenacting the events of the night he shot and killed Reeva Steenkamp, some analysts are wondering if the case will now head to a mistrial.

The video, which was broadcast on Channel Seven, showed him moving around without his prosthetic legs and holding his fist as if he was carrying a pistol.

In another scene, he was seen carrying his younger sister down a flight of stairs, demonstrating how he carried Steenkamp to the hallway after the shooting.

The ‘Blade Runner’s’ lawyers say the video was created to form his defense but was not submitted as evidence for his trial.

His attorneys say the video was “obtained illegally.”

However, the station says they never would have shown the video had they thought it was obtained unlawfully.

According to The Australian, Oscar Pistorius could sue for a mistrial.

Pistorius has been charged with murder after he shot and killed Steenkamp on February 14, 2013.

The sprinter claims he mistakenly shot his girlfriend after believing she was an intruder in his home.
