Update: Officials identify woman’s body found at recycling facility

UPDATE: 7/9 – The woman found at a recycling facility has been identified.

Authorities say the woman has been identified as 24-year-old Bobbie Lee Cole of Tulsa.

The medical examiner is still working to determine the cause of death.

OSBI agents continue to investigate Cole’s death as suspicious.


CATOSSA, Okla. – Authorities¬†are investigating after a woman’s body was found at a recycling facility in Catoosa.

Officials say the Catoosa Police Department received a phone call from the National Waste Disposal Facility about a body found among cardboard that had been dropped off for recycling.

According to OSBI, the woman’s body is badly decomposed and investigators found no identification on the body.

The body has been transported to the medial examiner’s office in Tulsa for identification and determination of cause/manner of death.

Officials say OSBI will work this case as a suspicious death until the medical examiner can provide some more information on how the woman died.
