Scotland's Colin Montgomerie might be the best golfer ever to have never won a major championship.

He came close many times, but never won a major title on the regular PGA Tour.

He did, however, break through with a major win this year on the Champions Tour, winning the Senior PGA Championship in May.

He's going for a rare double this week at the U.S. Senior Open at Oak Tree National in Edmond.
