Authorities searching for suspect involved in local bank robbery

GEARY, Okla. – Officials are searching for a suspect involved in a local bank robbery.

Authorities say at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, an unidentified man entered Bank of Western Oklahoma at 101 W. Main St in Geary, Okla. and verbally demanded money from a teller.

Witnesses say that the man implied that he had a gun, however, no weapon was seen.

The teller complied with the demand and the subject left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in a yellow plastic bag.

The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair, clean shaven, mid 20’s, 5’6″, 135 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a red and white OU baseball cap, sunglasses, light colored t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a yellow plastic bag.

The subject was last seen leaving the bank on foot heading northbound on Main Street.

Fortunately, no one was injured during this robbery.
