SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – A high-end escort accused of giving heroin to a Google executive and then leaving him when he overdosed is charged with manslaughter.

Alix Tichelman, 26,  was arraigned in a Santa Cruz, Calif. court this week.

It all began last November when Forrest Hayes, a Google executive, was found dead on his yacht.

Authorities said surveillance video from the boat showed Tichelman meeting Hayes on his 50-foot yacht, and then later injecting him with a lethal dose of heroin.

Police said the video also showed Tichelman making no effort to help him and left when Hayes overdosed.

His body was found the next morning.

Police lured Tichelman back to Santa Cruz and set up a sting with a detective posing as a potential client.
