EDMOND, Okla. - Qualifying rounds continued today at the U.S. Senior Open at Oak Tree National in Edmond.

With the recent tournament coverage, you may have heard some golf terms you are not familiar with.

To help you out, here is a list of the most popular terms and their definitions:

  • Par: The number of shots a golfer is expected to need to complete the play of one hole on a golf course
  • Birdie: Scoring -1 under par.
  • Eagle: Scoring -2 under par.
  • Bogey: Scoring 1 over par.
