Fast food feast: See which states spend the most at the drive thru

OKLAHOMA CITY – If you are trying to keep your body in shape this summer, it can be tough with temptation at your doorstep.

A new study by the Intuit Consumer Spending Index looked at how much money Americans across the country spend on fast food.

According to the study, Oklahomans are the most obsessed with fast food.

Researchers say Oklahomans spend over $101 a month on fast food, which is more than any other state.

The next closest competitors were pretty far behind.

Experts say residents in Arkansas and Kansas spent $84 and $83 a month on fast food feasts.

The state with the lowest amount spent at the drive-thru was Vermont, where residents spent $28 a month.
