Car crashes at a popular Oklahoma restaurant

OKLAHOMA CITY –   An alleged drunk driver is behind bars this morning after Oklahoma City Police say he slammed his car into a restaurant sign.

It happened just after 1 a.m. Thursday near Northwest 39th and Tulsa.

Police say the driver and passenger were going westbound on 29th when they crossed the center line and crashed into the sign at Ann’s Chicken Fry.

Neither the driver or passenger were hurt.

The driver was arrested and charged with DUI.
