Gundy Enjoying Media Days, Weis Talks Female Refs

Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy made his tenth appearance at Big 12 Media Days on Monday, July 21, and looked ahead to his team's season.

Gundy reflected on his now decade long head coaching career with the Cowboys in a unique way.

Comparing the attention he received upon arrival at the media event to that of Britney Spears and said early in his career it wasn't near the same.

As for the Pokes, finished 2013 season with a 10-3 record and had their third ten win season over the last four years.

The Cowboys face a tough test in their season opener, facing off with the defending national champions Florida State University.

The game will be the 2014 Cowboy's Classic played on August 30, 2014 inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

OSU plays six home games, five road games and the opener at a neutral site in 2014.

The 2014 season will feature a first in the Big 12 conference.

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby announced that Catherine "Cat" Conti will become the first female official in a conference game.

Conti will be a part of the referee crew for the September 6 game between Kansas and Southeast Missouri State.
