OKLAHOMA CITY – You may recognize some cats that are coming to Oklahoma City this weekend.

That’s because the Internet Cat Video Festival will take place at the Myriad Botanical Gardens’ Great Lawn on Saturday, July 26.

The event this weekend in Oklahoma is purr-fect for cat lovers or fans of cat videos that make the rounds online.

Check out this video below of what you can expect.  It’s video from last year’s Internet Cat Video Festival in Minnesota.

Now, you can experience the joy of a surprised kitten or keyboard cat along with other fans in real time.

There will be a screening of a 75-minute film featuring the internet’s finest cat videos begins at 9pm.

Grab the family, put on your whiskers, and show up at 7 pm to enjoy pre-screening festivities, that include food trucks, live music, cat-themed shopping, and much more.

The even is free and open to the public.

It is co-sponsored by the Arts Council of Oklahoma City and Downtown Oklahoma City, Inc.
