After being drafted 55th overall in the 2014 NBA draft and via several trades, Semaj Christon joined the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Christon played two seasons at Xavier University in Cincinnati before declaring for the NBA draft after his sophomore season.

The Cincinnati native made his first public appearance as a member of the Thunder at Yukon High School on Wednesday, July 23.

Christon led local kids through a Thunder youth basketball camp and even competed in most of the activities.

The point guard compares his playing style to one of his new teammates, Russell Westbrook.

Speaking of teammates, Christon played a year of high school ball with fellow 2014 Thunder draft pick Mitch McGary at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.
