OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say a woman, who was trying to be considered “fun” by a group of kids, is now being charged with child neglect.

Officers were serving a warrant at the home along S. Douglas Ave. when they noticed several juveniles inside the house.

According to the arrest affidavit, the home “looked like it had not been clean in a very long time.”

Police say the sink was full of stagnant water, none of the toilets worked in the home and there was no food in the house.

When speaking with the woman’s boyfriend, he told police 33-year-old Shannon Moore tries to be “fun” and can’t tell any of the children no.

According to the report, Moore told officers the kids who come over to her house bring their own alcohol and marijuana.

Authorities say they found a small amount of marijuana in the home.

Moore was arrested for child neglect and possession of marijuana.

Her boyfriend, 35-year-old Matthew Holman, was arrested for child neglect.
