An update to a story Meg Alexander brought you last week.

The couple had poured more than a decade of their lives into refurbishing an old church, hoping to make it a romantic place for couples to get married.

"You just feel hurt by it.  You can't believe that someone would actually do it," said Rick Garrett.

That's how Garrett felt when he found out he and his wife's dreams had been stolen.

They bought this Church to turn into a wedding chapel.

But sometime in the last few months, someone cleaned the chapel out of $50,000 worth of goods.

One of the things taken was a door with Jesus carved in it.

"Meg if you could see this door.  You feel like Jesus is in the building," said Garrett.

A NewsChannel 4 viewer has come through once again.

After seeing our story, an Edmond woman named Sandy called the station and said she had the door.

"I had come across a Craiglist ad that showed the door and pews.  I was able to buy it on craigslist. I was watching your news and saw the article about this chapel.  So I was a little bit surprised to realize I had stolen property," Sandy said.

And today, she is excited to give it back to it's rightful owner.

Garrett couldn't be more thankful.

If anyone knows anything about this crime of the stolen pews that are still missing, please call the Oklahoma City Police Department.
